Lightweight Repair Mortar
Rotafix Rendacrete Lightweight(LW) Concrete repair mortar is a mixture of cements, aggregates, accelerators and polymers in one ready to use 25kg bag. By simply adding water to this premixed material you will get a consistent mortar, no more messing with admixes and fibres and getting inconsistent mixes and patchy repairs.
Rotafix Rendacrete LW repair mortar is ideal for repairing damaged concrete surfaces. Rendacrete LW is a high build repair product, so it is ideal for remedial works where the avoidance of shuttering can accelerate the progression of the repair.

Product Details
Lightweight Repair Mortar
Rotafix RM20 LW is a lightweight concrete repair mortar which is suitable for repairs to reinforced concrete structures.
RM20 is suitable for vertical and overhead applications as the consistency of the mixed product gives very little slump when applied. Prior to the application of the mortar the surfaces should be coated with Rotafix P12 primer to improve adhesion and to prevent corrosion to the metal reinforcing bars.
A maximum thickness of 50mm can be applied per application. Rotafix RM20 meets the test requirements of the Water Research Council standard BS6920 for the storage of potable water.

Rendacrete LW is a high-build repair product, making it ideal for remedial works where the avoidance of shuttering can accelerate the progression of the repair.

How to use
Preperation
Concrete surfaces should be clean and free from Laitance. Reinforcing steel should be clean and free from loose rust. Rotafix RM20 LW REPAIR MORTAR is compatible with most steel primers. All surfaces should be coated with Rotafix P12 PRIMER before the application of RM20 LW REPAIR MORTAR.
Mixing
The contents of the RM20 LW REPAIR MORTAR Hardener (curing agent) must be added to the contents of the resin container and mixed thoroughly. The total liquid is then added to the filler
and mixed thoroughly. The 10 litre pack needs to be mechanically mixed using a slow speed drill and a Rotafix paddle.
Application
The fully mixed material should be placed immediately onto the wet/tacky primer. If the primer dries prior to application of the RM20 LW REPAIR MORTAR the area must be re-primed. RM20 LW REPAIR MORTAR should be applied to the vertical or overhead surface by use of a steel trowel and hawk using a plastering type technique. The contents of the pack should be mixed, placed and trowel finished in not more than 40 minutes at +18ºC.
