When using Rotafix Adhesives such as RSA, Engineering Adhesive, CB10T, TG6 is you want to be able to remove the shuttering or do not want the adhesive to adhere to a surface, then an application of wax will allow you to remove the shuttering or remove the adhesive from the surface.

Cured Rotafix adhesives can be removed from surfaces coated with release wax.

If you are using permanent shuttering, then there is no requirement to prepare the surfaces with release wax. If, however, you are using temporary shuttering as a mould or casting that will be removed, coating with release wax will ensure that the shuttering can be removed with ease.

Rotafix have found that Fiddes furniture wax has given the best results.
