Pyroprotect is a pH-neutral, water based, non-toxic, low VOC, tintable fire-retardant wood stain for various wooden construction products.
Pyroprotect is a latest generation product meant for use in situations where the fire retardancy is paramount.
In essence it is a 3-in-1 product, providing:
- Required fire protection (highest possible fire retardancy class)
- Beautiful appearance (all colour tones)
- Weather protection
Available in clear version and also in thousands of tones, for both interior and exterior applications, Pyroprotect is mostly used for fire-protection of wooden facades, constructional elements, beams in public buildings such as schools, hospitals, airports and wooden multistorey buildings..
Can be used on:
Softwood, hardwood, exterior cladding, interior panels, beams, trusses, CLT, LVL, acoustic boarding,plywood, OSB, MDF, thermally treated wood and accoya.

How to use
PyroProtect® is suited for manual (with a brush, spray, immersing, lint-free cloth) and industrial (flow coating, airless spray) treatment. Contact our Technical Department for specific details.
Th etimber must be fully dry before applying a water based paint or stain.
